Farrow & Ball repaint of a period flat in Battersea, SW11
A two-bedroom period flat in Battersea repainted in Farrow & Ball over eight days: living room, master bedroom, second bedroom, hallway and kitchen. Cracked ceilings were filled and repaired first, with floors and furniture protected throughout.

A period flat with tired walls and a cracked ceiling
This two-bedroom flat in a Battersea period block has tall sash windows, a deep cornice and parquet floors. The living-room ceiling had long cracks running across it and a water mark near the light fitting, and the walls throughout carried old patches and scuffs.
Repairs and protection before colour
The ceiling cracks were filled and the patched walls made good before any colour went on. The parquet was covered with Q1 Floor ProBoard and the kitchen tiles with hard-floor protection film; the sofa, beds and fitted wardrobes were wrapped in place and the light fittings taped up. With the client away for the duration, the team could work through the flat room by room.
Farrow & Ball, room by room
The living room, both bedrooms, the hallway and the kitchen had their walls repainted in Farrow & Ball Estate Emulsion, including Strong White, Blue Gray and Ammonite — the green-grey of the living room now sits under a crisp white cornice. The ceilings in the living room, hallway and bedrooms, including the repaired one, were finished in Dulux Trade Vinyl Matt in Pure Brilliant White, and the skirting boards in Dulux Trade Satinwood, also in Pure Brilliant White. Eight days from start to finish.
